Three for a Girl

In “Three for a Girl” Miga will come across a flying house which contains a whole city.

What a square bird is this? wonders Miga when she sees a thing flying through the blue sky. Getting closer she realises that it’s a house with wide open windows flapping in the air. Miga get’s closer till she can dip into the window. Inside the house is a whole city with colourful buildings. There is a tree house (well, it’s a house for trees) or a bird house. On her flight through this city Miga meets two of her magpie friends. They fly towards a huge building which turns out to be the dress of a beautiful girl. She’s taller than any building in this city. The girl is watching over the city and creating more buildings with her hands. When a new tiny house is ready she opens her hands and blows it off, the house flies away through the blue sky. ∞

This scene is used in the prototype which you can see in the concept movie. The animatic above gives an idea about the full loop of the scene. There’s an other movie which shows the three mini loops that can be discovered in the scene. And there’s a movie which shows the mock-up loop book. All pictures are storyboard sketches to explain the story and don’t show the final look. Styleframes are on the way.
